Gabriel Medford

Gabriel's work centers on Georgia's Open Records Act and Georgia's Open Meetings Act. He litigates public records and public meetings cases across the State of Georgia, advising clients on how to obtain public records through enforcement lawsuits brought pursuant to those laws. ​

Before joining Ramsingh Legal, Gabriel developed strong trial advocacy skills at a civil litigation firm, appearing in court on an almost daily basis to handle all kinds of matters. He brings a wealth of litigation and extensive civil procedure expertise to the firm. Gabriel has litigated cases in all 159 counties in the State of Georgia.

Additionally, Gabriel serves as the firm's point of contact on international FOIA requests, having completed training on the United Kingdom's Freedom of Information Laws.

A Georgia native, Gabriel attended Mercer University in Macon where he served on its law review. 

​

In his spare time, Gabriel takes care of his dog and two middle aged cats, and enjoys a good round of trivia on the weekend.

  • Co-Counsel in Campside Media LLC v. Georgia Bureau of Investigation, an Open Records Act case seeking public records from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's handling of the officer-involved shooting during the building of the Atlanta Police Department's Public Safety Training Center
